RUTLEDGE - Approximately 14 to 15 Grainger County families are reeling in the aftermath of a raid on a local slaughterhouse by federal and state law enforcement agencies that resulted in the detention of immigrant workers employed by the facility. During the execution of a search warrant by the Internal Revenue Service , Immigration and Customs Enforcement , Homeland Security Investigations and the Tennessee Highway Patrol at Southeastern Provision, authorities arrested 10 individuals on federal criminal charges, one on state charges, and 86 on administrative charges.
